OCC students who have off-campus access to the Internet can now obtain full-text articles from hundreds of magazines and journals at any time of the day or night.

To access OCC's database collection from home:

• Login to Ocean Cruiser

  If this is your first time logging on to Ocean Cruiser, your username is firstname_lastname. Your password is the last 6 digits of your social security number.
  

• Once you are logged in, click on the Campus Tab on the left side of the screen. This will take you to the main Announcements page.
  

  
  
  

• On the Announcements page, click on the announcement titled Library Resources Available Online. This will usually be the very last announcement on the page.

  
  
  

• Once you click on the announcement title, the full text of the announcement will display, including the direct link to the proxy server.

  
  
  

• Once you click on the link to the proxy server, you will be directed to the list of resources, databases, encyclopedia, etc., available off campus. Clicking on any of the titles of the resources will take you directly to that database where you can open, search, and print from all the information in the resource.
