Ocean County College we offer a variety of degree and
certificate programs. View our online

Our certificates of completion are
shorter programs offered primarily for practitioners
who wish to upgrade knowledge in a particular career
field, though courses are usually open to all interested
students. In general, the credits you earn through a
certificate program may later be applied to an associate
degree in a related career field or in general education.
Typically, the associate degree (64
or more credits) requires a minimum of two years of
full-time study. Certificate programs may be completed
after 30 or more credits are earned. However, with the
flexibility of our day, evening and Saturday classes,
you can pursue full or part-time study with a class
schedule that is tailored to your own needs.
- The associate in arts and associate
in science degrees will prepare you for transfer
to a four-year college or university.
- The associate in applied science degree will prepare
you for an immediate career.
- Certificate programs are designed to equip you with
skills to become immediately employable
in a wide range of job possibilities.
