Evaluation of Student

quiz button1. Assessments/Exams
There are 5 self grading multiple choice unit exams in the exam section of the course. The exams are open book with an unlimited time limit.  You can only take each exam twice and your highest grade is recorded in the grade book. It is my suggestion that you print the exams and look through the book for the answers as you read.  After submitting an exam the first time, the assessment manager will let you know which problems you got incorrect.  You can mark down the problems you got incorrect on your printed copy and look up and make changes the second time you submit.  Once an exam is submitted the second time, it is finished and can't be accessed again.  Make your tries count!

Discussions are scheduled on the course web site and posted to the discussion area.  You must reply in a meaningful way to at least 3 other posts when doing your discussion.  70% of your discussion grade is based on content (e.g. "Did you answer the question posed?") and 30% is based on if you replied in a meaningful way to at least 3 others (participation).  Be sure to post using proper spelling and grammar!  I suggest typing your response in Word and then copy and paste to the discussions.
