Viewing Assessment Results

You may be able to view your assessment results immediately after submitting the assessment.

Note:
If the assessment contains a paragraph question, you will only be able to view your partial score until your instructor or teaching assistant has graded the paragraph question.

Once you have confirmed the submission of your assessment, you are returned to the main screen for the Assessments tool. To view your results, click View All Submissions. The View All Submissions screen appears and all of your submissions and any released results are listed. The View All Submissions screen

If your instructor has released the submission, you'll see a link to each attempt. When you click the attempt, your submission appears along with your score, time spent, graded answers, and any feedback your grader has provided.

Once you have finished viewing your attempt, click Done.

Viewing Statistics

You can look at class statistics for the assessment to compare your results to the rest of the class. To view class statistics, from the main screen for the Assessments tool, click View Statistics. The View Statistics screen appears and all of the graded assessments are listed.

You can view Item Statistics or Summary Statistics. Item statistics compare your results to other students' results on a question per question basis. Summary statistics compare your results on the entire assessment to other students' assessment results. To view statistics for an assessment, select the assessment and click either View Item Statistics or View Summary Statistics.

You're ready to take and submit online assessments in WebCT. If you want to try taking an assessment in WebCT, you can take a self test that will test your knowledge of the Assessments tool by clicking the Assessments icon Assessments icon in the Action Menu.
