News: Please consider applying for 2009 summer internship!
There are a limited number of summer internships available at the award winning Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station (NAES) for Ocean County College students who are pursuing careers in engineering. NAVAIR at NAES Lakehurst is the high tech world leader in Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE).
Their mission, the Aircraft Platform Interface (API), assures that fixed and vertical wing aircraft operate safely and effectively from aircraft carriers, air capable ships and expeditionary airfields worldwide.
Our students will be assisting the NAVAIR engineers in completing this mission. They will receive 3 credits for the summer internship as well as receiving an hourly wage for their work.
You must meet the following requirements
Send your college and high school transcripts, letter of interest and support materials (SAT scores, letter of acceptance from NJ Stars, letter of recommendation, etc.) to:

Students will be notified by May of each year of their acceptance into the summer internship. All selections will be made by a summer internship admissions committee based upon the above criteria. Students must sign up and pay for INTR-290 Internship I before starting their internship.
