Women's Health: How to change a health behavior?

Women’s Health

Professor Malachowski's main goal in the Women’s Health course is for students to learn how to change a health behavior. Each student works through a behavior change process over the course of the semester. Many students report obtaining a higher quality of life by taking the Women’s Health course. A previous student in Women’s Health had this to say about this course, “The distinctive advantage of this course over others is that lessons taught are useful right from the first day of class. It is not just all about passing this course but about incorporating what is learned into everyday life.”

Professor Kathy Malachowski, HHP Coordinator“Mrs Malachowski is one of the best professors that I have ever had. Transferring from another school and not getting to know the professors very well, this was a big change. Mrs Malachowski has not only taught me a great deal but I have also gotten to know her pretty well. Her concern is not just the class and how your doing in it, but she cares about me as a person as well.”
