The Health and Human Performance Program is where exercise, fitness, physical activity, sports, and human movement are at the heart of all we do. If you are considering a career related to health, wellness, sports, physical activity, teaching, coaching, athletic training, sports journalism, sports management, sports medicine, or exercise science; then this is the place for you!
We offer three different concentrations in Health and Human Performance:
The following three concentrations are available from the Health and Human Performance (HEHP) department, as concentrations within a Liberal Arts degree.
Exercise Science/Sports Medicine
Health and Human Performance Teacher
Wellness and Health Promotion
First Aid/CPR/AED
Students planning to transfer to a four-year institution should pick the appropriate concentration. It is recommended that student check degree requirements in the catalogs of transfer institutions and/or consult the transfer institution.
