CHEM 182 General Chemistry II

This course, intended for science majors, is the second of a two-course sequence. Course topics include: colligative properties, chemical equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, kinetics, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, and nuclear chemistry. The laboratory work involves analytical and spectrophotometric techniques relating to lecture topics.

Prerequisites: CHEM 181

This course is a wonderful choice for those interested in entering the One Day per Week Nursing Program who have not had high school chemistry or who took it many years ago.


Tuition and Fees

Tuition and Fees are based on 4 semester hours and a $100 DL fee.

Safety

The At-Home Science kits are safe, cost-effective and environment-friendly. The kits include a lab manual plus the basic equipment and supplies required to complete the full semester of lab assignments described in each manual. Students need to carefully follow the safety guidelines provided.
