The Science Program is dedicated to providing the highest quality undergraduate education in the traditional scientific disciplines of biology, chemistry, and physics. Our primary goals are for students to master the fundamental concepts of scientific knowledge, attain the competence that will allow them to critically interpret data and attempt to explain newly observed phenomena. In so doing, and in concert with Ocean County College's mission, the Science Program will contribute to strong post secondary associate degree and certificate programs that will enrich the lives of the residents of Ocean County and surrounding communities. Distinction in undergraduate education is an important component of this goal.
