The Science Program offers an Associate in Science (A.S.) and an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degrees with concentrations in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. These programs of study are fully transferable to baccalaureate degree granting institutions throughout the State of New Jersey, as well as to many institutions of higher learning nationwide. The OCC science program has been strengthened by the addition of Kean University right on our own campus.

Do you want to become a scientist, science teacher or go on to medical school? Your academic journey can begin right at OCC!

Outstanding Faculty
New scientific knowledge is being accumulated at a phenomenal rate. Every day some new discovery or breakthrough in any one of the scientific disciplines is obtained. The outstanding science faculty are enthusiastic about teaching and sharing this new knowledge with you. They are available, not only in the classroom, but also outside of the classroom for additional one-on-one counseling and support. The science faculty members are proud of the many successes that its graduates have achieved. Graduates have gone on to medical and professional schools, as well as to graduate programs. Many have come back to the community as doctors, scientists and teachers.

Our faculty members are here to help you achieve your goals too!

Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact the Center for Academic Services for additional assistance.
