GED Testing Schedule
The GED (General Education Development) Testing Center is a cooperative effort of Ocean County College, Ocean County PIC and the NJ Department of Education, Bureau of Adult Education & Family Literacy/GED.
Ocean County College offers GED testing/retesting by appointment only 732.255.0530.

*Please include your name and mailing address on the money order, and upon receipt of your payment, you will receipt a confirmation letter in the mail.
Cancellations
Whether for emergency or personal reasons, must be made prior to 72 hours before test day, or money order will be forfeited.
Attendance at Orientation on Wednesdays before test date (2:00 p.m., OCC Library Building, Room 017) is mandatory to complete all paperwork, see film and present I.D’s.
Acceptable Identification
Note: Two valid forms of Identification must be presented: (1) The Primary ID must be Government issued (national or foreign) Identification that must show name, N.J. Address, Date of Birth, Signature, and a Photograph. (2). The Secondary ID could be an Official Social Security Card or Birth or Marriage Certificate with a raised seal. Photocopies will not be accepted.
Test takers under the age of 18 must submit a consent form with their and their parent/legal guardian's signatures prior to sitting for the test.
Maximum times the GED test (each subject) may be administered is no more than 3 times in a calendar year (January 1st through December 31).

Disabilities/Accommodations GED Testing:
Qualified candidates may call our office to request special accommodations forms. Completed Forms will be sent in to NJ Department of Education to await approval. Once you receive your approval letter, please call our office to set up a series of individual testing appointments.
