• If you received a student loan last year while attending OCC:
  1. Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA).
  2. Returning Students: If you filled out a MPN last year, you may not be required to fill one out this year. This is a serial note and OCC will process it for you. You must however, fill out the 2010-2011 Loan Request Form - click on the link, print out, and returned the completed form to Financial Aid Office to be processed.
• If you did not receive a student loan last year while attending OCC:
  1. Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA).
  2. First-Time Borrowers: Please log on to OCC's 2010-2011 Loan Request Form and use the select button to choose one of OCC's preferred lenders.
  3. Complete the Stafford Loan Request Form.
  4. Complete Entrance Interview information.
  5. Confirm your information and follow the steps needed to complete a MPN for your lender.
• Paper copies of MPN: Copies of the Master Promissory Note are available in the Financial Aid Office, as well as other forms necessary for completing the loan process.
