- Yes! Ocean County College is dedicated
to
serving
the
needs
of all county residence by offering flexible
schedules
including Internet, home-study and weekend
courses.
- What
is the cost of attending Ocean
County College?
- The cost is $115.00 per semester credit(for
county residents) and most classes are 3 credits.

Can
I go to college if I am still
in high school?
- Yes!
We have a Jump
Start program
for high school students. This
program allows high school
juniors and seniors to attend
classes at OCC at a discounted
tuition.
I
haven't taken a college course
before and it has been sometime
since I have been in High
School. Where should I begin?
- After
submitting an application form
to the admissions office, Contact
the Advising
Office to
discuss your educational goals
and any specific questions about
attending Ocean County College.
- Will
the classes I take at OCC transfer?
- Yes!! Ocean
County College has many transfer
degree programs. 75% of our
graduates have successfully
transferred to 4-year institution
like Rutgers, TCNJ, and Richard
Stockton State.
I don't know if I can afford college -- what type of options do I have?
- Ocean County College has many options
including Financial
Aid, OCC foundation
scholarships, and a Tuition
Payment Plan.

Do
I need a high school diploma
or GED to take classes at
OCC? What about the SATS?
- No, Ocean County College is an open
enrollment college. If you are 18 years
of age and older and have the ability
to benefit from postsecondary education
you may attend. Certain programs, such
as the Nursing
Program & Honors
Program, have special requirements.
Where
are you located?
- Our main campus is located in Toms
River; we also have 17
off-site locations around the
county including our Southern
Education Center in Manahawkin.
