 Real estate which has appreciated in value can be an excellent vehicle for making a gift, especially if you no longer need or use the property, because you get a two-fold tax benefit while supporting Ocean County College.
In some cases a donor may establish a retained life estate to retain the use of a property for a specified period of time. Gifts of real estate must go through an approval process before the gift is finalized.
