 Gifts of securities include the transfer of stock, bonds, and other securities, especially those that have increased in value. As with other appreciated property, it is to your advantage to transfer ownership rather than to sell the property first and donate the proceeds to Ocean County College.
Gifts of stock and appreciated securities are a great way to make a tax-wise gift to support your College.
