Heritage Society - Give the gift of knowledgeIn 1964, Ocean County College set its sights on providing superior learning opportunities for all residents of Ocean County. Today, 40 years later, OCC continues to serve the community's educational needs while building on the tradition of educational excellence.

Armed with a vision of a "new" OCC and spurred-on by a dedication to be responsive to the needs of the ever-changing community, the challenge for the future is to provide students and community members with the best learning and enrichment opportunities, the best community service, and the best academic preparation possible.

OCC is an institution that uses its resources carefully and prudently, yet also plans for growth and development so we are ready to meet the ever-evolving needs of the community.

The Foundation has also expanded its outreach to form partnerships with community leaders in business, industry, education, and government to reach a common goal - to provide quality, affordable education to our students and to prepare them to assume their roles in these and other areas of our society.
