Mission and Goals
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to maintain institutional research, data collection, to support the assessment of college outcomes, including the assessment of student learning, and to maintain college policies and procedures. The office reports to the Assistant to the President for Institutional Quality.
The primary goals of this office are as follows:
- Develop and maintain student enrollment and tracking systems
- Collect and report mandated data
- Support institutional and outcomes assessment activities
- Conduct surveys and studies related to academic programs and student support services
- Provide studies to enable data-based decision making
- Create and maintain a data depot for institutional use
- Respond to requests for ad hoc data reports and studies
- Approve/Oversee research projects using live subjects at OCC
