- Purpose: provides funding for services designed to meet the needs of displaced homemakers in Ocean County. Services will foster the development of career and job skills so clients and their families will become economically self-sufficient.

- Purpose: To provide support services for former OCC Students who have left the institution without earning a degree or certificate

- Project: The Student Support Services (SSS)
- Funding Amount: $220,000 each year for five years

- Duration: Five-year program
- Purpose: The SSS program purpose is to increase the retention and graduation rates of qualifying students via targeted support services including academic tutoring; advice and assistance in postsecondary course selection, assist students with information on student financial aid programs, benefits and resources for locating public and private scholarships; assistance in completing financial aid applications; services designed to improve the financial and economic literacy of students; and assistance in applying for admission to, and obtaining financial assistance for enrollment in fouryear programs.
