Data Collection

The primary means of collecting data will be the Ocean County College Anemometer Program (OCCAP) Partner which will have software and cables made available to them for this specific purpose. After an initial check to assure monitors are collecting and functioning properly, the frequency of collection is anticipated to be monthly to assure the devices are functioning properly.
The proposed data collection devices can hold 60,000 data points, and the limit of the data collection devices is only set by the frequency with which points are collected. With data collected at ten minute samples over four channels, the limit of the data collection memory will not be approached.
