First Aid, Health education and health counseling for students, faculty and staff.
Coordination of on campus community service programs:
Emergencies:
To report an emergency DIAL 2200 on any campus phone, or pick up any RED phone on campus and state name and location of injured person and type of emergency.
Our Professional Nurses provide basic first aid, monitor blood pressure and weight, Do health assessment, counseling and referral and provide health education to support student learning and employee work performance.
Available in our office A-107 on the main Toms River campus, we have basic first aid supplies, over the counter medications and a large health education resource file. Our brochures, pamphlets, and other materials can aid in class assignments and answer many health concerns and are available for use by our students, faculty and staff.
Our Professional Nurses are available from 8
a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Our Professional Nurses coordinate our Health Education Programs, Community Service programs, Blood Drives and Flu shots. Basic first aid supplies and health education brochures are available at the Southern Education Campus, as well as scheduled programs and blood drives.
