Services
Office
Services, located on the ground floor of the Administration
building, is open from 8am to 4pm daily. A drop box
is located in the hallway directly outside our entrance
for after hour drop off's. Interoffice mail, copy requests,
outbound USPS mail, etc can all be placed in the drop
box. The drop box is checked every morning by 8:30am.

Service
Copy
requests larger than 10 copies are sent to PIP Printing.
PIP makes a daily delivery and pickup in Office Services
at 9am and 1pm . Copy
work will be distributed on the morning and afternoon
mail runs. PIP does not have counter service available,
all drop offs and pick ups are to be handled through
Office Services. You may email your request directly
to pipcopy@comcast.net
. Additional processing such as folding, cutting,
inserting, and mailing are completed in Office Services
and will require extra time.
If
you are requesting GBC Binding, Color Copies, or a Campus
Distribution, you must have the signature of the Area
Vice President. Unsigned copy work requests will
be returned.

Departmental
copiers are maintained and managed by Office Services.
The copiers are multifunction devises that have the
ability to Copy, Print, Fax, PC-Fax, Scan, and e-File.

Mailing
Mailings of 200 pieces
or more are to be sent as a bulk mailing. Bulk Mail
costs can be 60%
lower than First Class. Contact Office Services to plan
and schedule your Bulk mailing, we recommend a 3
- 4 week lead time for bulk
mailings. Office Services would like to assist you in
conforming your mailing to USPS regulations. Meeting
the USPS requirements will keep costs down and expedite

Service Request Form.

options; visit them to purchase stamps or to ship a

is the preferred overnight carrier
for College Business. Carriers are very competitive
with ground shipments. Office
Services will rate shop your package and help you pick
the best carrier for you shipment.
Office Services is dedicated
to recycling 100% of the packing material received in
our office. We have a wide array of materials to assist
you in packing your packages. Bring your item to be
shipped to Office Services and we will help you pack
it up.

Tagged
items require a Capital Equipment & Furniture Disposal
Form and a Work Order to be removed. Items will
only be removed once the Work Order and Disposal form

Recycling
Office
Services would like to assist you in recycling your
old laser, inkjet, fax and copier toners. Simply place
your used cartridge with the outgoing mail. Office Services
will pick up the empty containers and make sure they
are recycled. Recycling the toner cartridges benefits
the College and the environment.
Did you know old electronic
equipment can also be recycled? Smaller untagged
items such as adding machines and calculators may be
placed with the out going mail to be recycled. Attach
a note stating the items condition and Office Services
will pick up the item for recycling.
Envelopes
& Paper
Mailing envelopes, paper
and College stationary are available through Office
Services. Fill out the Envelope, Stationary and Paper
Supply Form, send it to Office Services and we will
fulfill your order on the next available mail run. Only
items listed on the form are available through Office
Services. If you would like a departmental designator
imprinted on your envelopes, complete the “Imprint on
Envelope” line when you request envelopes.

Records
Management
Ocean County College must
comply with the State of New Jersey 's Record Retention
program. All records have a unique time frame in which
they are considered viable. A complete list of time

records may be disposed of or destroyed without written
permission from the Division of Archives and
Records Management. Records with a retention time longer
than three years may be stored in the archive. For detailed
