Security and Safety
Emergency Telephone
The emergency telephones have been strategically placed
in the campus buildings and in parking lots 1 and 2
for your safety and convenience. These phones do not
function as normal telephones and ring only at the Security
Office, the College Nurse and the switchboard. When
using a standard college telephone, the emergency extension
is 2200. These emergency telephones will expedite security
and/or medical response to any campus emergency. This
network of emergency telephones is expanding and the
Security Department welcomes your suggestion on possible
new locations.
Safety Escort
The Security Department will provide escort service between
buildings or from a building to any of the parking lots
located throughout the campus. Call extension 2170 or
pickup any of the Emergency Telephones and provide the
Officer with your location.
Lost and Found
Lost items from all over the campus are usually turned
into the Security Office which is located in the Instructional
Building Room 103. If you should become parted from
a possession, call extension 2170 or stop in to claim
it.
