Problem Solving

Does it ever seem that you are swamped with challenges that keep repeating themselves in spite of the skilled job the administration and elected officials do in solving them? Are you continually revising processes, procedures, and ordinances to address issues that were not considered when they were first drafted? Chances are that time and constituent demands are keeping you from identifying and defining problems in ways that assure better quality solutions. With tremendous demands on your time, there is a probability that you are going with one of the first solutions that seems to quickly address the inadequately identified problem. The result is solving the wrong problems with inadequately developed solutions.
