The Center for Business Education and Training
Supports Ocean County Government

The Center for Business Education and Training has been working in partnership with the Government of Ocean County to support their overall employee development needs, as well as the needs of their individual departments. The training offered to date has been very well received and we continue to plan future programs.

We have offered the following programs:

• A full day program for new supervisors who were promoted from within the organization.
• A full day program on Customer Service and dealing with customers on the telephone.
• Progressive Discipline
• Telephone Techniques
• Diversity
• Team building for departments
• Supervisory training for middle and upper level managers
• ... and more!

The sessions are very interactive and deal with real-world problems of government employees. The instructors who teach the programs have working experience in government and industry and have themselves had to deal with many of the issues brought up in class.
