Ways of Giving
The
Ocean County College Foundation is a private, non-profit,
tax-exempt organization and receives charitable gifts
in the form of checks, cash, pledges, stocks, and securities.
In addition to gifts made today, donors may also want
to consider long-term financial plans. The Foundation
can be gifted through a will or living-trust and can
be named as beneficiary of life insurance policies.
(A gift with retained income for the donor or others
is another option.) The Foundation also accepts useable
equipment, artwork and property, subject to the College
Board of Trustees' approval.

Each year, the Foundation appeals to the public to
support their scholarship programs. Annual gifts of
alumni, faculty, staff, friends, businesses, and corporate
provide scholarship support for Ocean County College
students.
The Ocean County College Foundation offers numerous
opportunities for donors to designate their contributions.
It is most appropriate for donors to establish their
own guidelines and designate where their contribution
is to be applied. The following opportunities are merely
suggestions:
- Establish an endowed scholarship ($10,000 minimum)
whereby the scholarship is awarded annually from the
investment earnings;
- Designate a gift to unrestricted funds whereby
the Ocean County College Foundation Board of Trustees
will select the scholarship or project most in need
of financial support;
- Contribute to an individual academic scholarship;
- Establish funding for or contribute to a donor
identified special campus project or need.
It is important for the donors to know that every assistance
will be given to ensure the donors' contribution is
designated as they requested. For more information,
please contact Sandy S. Broughton, Executive Director,
at (732) 255-0492.
