Coastal Excursion II: Historical Tour, Lunch and Winery
Wednesday, August 24

Take time out to enjoy the beauty of our coast.  You will board the Cape May-Lewes Ferry where you can enjoy the beautiful scenic cruise across the Delaware Bay.  Maybe you’ll see dolphins and you will surely see lighthouses on your voyage.  Once the ferry docks in Lewes you will board the bus for a tour of historical Lewes, DE.  You will enjoy lunch at a local waterside restaurant, Irish Eyes. After lunch you will enjoy a 10 minute ride to Nassau Valley Vineyards for a tour, tasting and an etched crystal tasting glass to keep.  Then it’s back on the Ferry to relax and enjoy the day’s end.

Tour a pretzel factory and try twisting your own pretzel.  You will have a unique opportunity to visit an Amish Dairy Farm and talk with an Amish Farmer.  You will enjoy an authentic Lancaster dining experience for lunch at one of the PA Dutch restaurants.
