Cancellation and Refund Policies

Ocean County College's Office of Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel a course entirely, or to change its time, location or instructor. In the event a course is changed, students will be notified. Notification of course change or cancellation will be made by postcard or phone call. If a course is cancelled, all students will be issued a full refund in about two weeks.

Refund Policy for Continuing Education Courses:

We will be pleased to offer you a refund or tuition credit for a class ONLY if you withdraw at least four (4) business days, between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm, prior to the start date of the class. Refunds will be issued within 2-4 weeks based on the original payment method. There will be no refunds issued should a student be dismissed from class for misconduct. There will be no refunds for trips or ticketed events. Student substitutions will not be permitted for courses.
