Dental Assistants are in very high demand right now. Most doctors' offices are looking for dental assistants with an x-ray license to aid in patient care and treatment. Students should take Introduction to Dental Assisting and Dental Radiographic Technician to learn all procedures necessary to function in a dental office.
Introduction to Dental Assisting has been designed to provide a complete foundation in the dental assisting field. All phases of assisting will be addressed through a "hands-on" presentation of dental procedures, dental materials, and four-handed assisting techniques. Textbook required: Essentials of Dental Assisting. CEHS 126
