Ocean County College and O.C.E.A.N., Inc. proudly announce the new O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Kids Child Development Center on the campus of Ocean County College, College Drive, Toms River, NJ.
The O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Kids Child Development Center will help children to grow and learn – physically, socially, and cognitively – at their own pace. This full-day, full-year program, will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday for children between the ages of two months to six years. As part of the program, children will be given a nutritious breakfast and lunch, plus a healthy snack daily. Families are required to complete enrollment forms and may choose from five-day, three-day, or two day per week programs. The Head Start program is also available for income eligible applicants.
The O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Kids Child Development Center staff will hold the credentials and skills necessary to meet the needs of young children including being certified in CPR and trained in First Aid. The child development program will utilize the Creative Curriculum, which translates new research and theory from the field of early childhood education into a practical, easy-to-understand approach to working with children and their families.
Since 1965, O.C.E.A.N., Inc. has been helping people help themselves by providing services to the community. Its programs are continually evolving and currently include: Head Start; O.C.E.A.N., Inc. Kids Child Care; Weatherization; Home Energy Assistance; and Housing.
