OCC students who have off-campus access to the Internet can now obtain full-text articles from hundreds of magazines and journals at any time of the day or night.

To access OCC's database collection from home:

• Login to Ocean Cruiser

  If this is your first time logging on to Ocean Cruiser, your username is firstname_lastname. Your password is the last 6 digits of your social security number.
  

• Once you are logged in, click on the Academics Tab at the top of the screen. This will take you to the main page for your academic resources.
  

  
  
  

• On the Academics page, click on the sub-tab titled Library Resources.  This will take you to the main page for Library Databases.

  
  
  

• Before you can access the databases, you MUST click the Open in New Window link, located at the top right of the page. 

  
  
  

• Once you click on the Open in New Window link, you will be directed to the list of resources, databases, encyclopedia, etc., available off campus. Clicking on any of the titles of the resources will take you directly to that database where you can open, search, and print from all the information in the resource.
