Look in our OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) for books that are located at Ocean County College Library. Books are arranged by the Dewey Decimal Classification System.

Create your Research strategy by using Boolean Logic.

Know your topic--check spelling, definition
Identify main concepts--keywords, subjects
Create search strategy--find synonyms, eliminate extra words, combine keywords with "and"
Choose the appropriate resources
Revamp your strategy after you see what kind of results you are getting.

If the the library does not have the book that you need for your research paper, you can request the book via InterLibrary Loan. Please provide approximately 2 weeks for this service.
