Association
for Pre-Health Professionals (APHP)
Purpose is to provide exposure to the variety
of professional health occupations and to organize
the information students need to enter these professions.
Business Club (PBL)
The purpose of Phi Beta Lambda is to advance the
academic and professional knowledge of its members,
sponsor social and professional activities, promote
closer association with the business community
and seek job opportunities for its members.
Clay Club (Ceramics)
The purpose of this organization is to further
students' interest and knowledge in contemporary/historical
and technical approaches in the creative ceramic
arts.
Criminal Justice Club
(LAE)
This group is the official organization of those
students pursuing studies and a career in law
enforcement.
Education Club
This club is designed to provide information,
resources, and networkingopportunities for students
interested in education as a career. Members are
given avenues of career exploration in educational
administration and teaching as they discuss the
future of wducation.
History Club
The purpose of this organization is to provide
a forum and club for students interested in the
discussion and study of history.
Math Club
The purpose of this club is to further the appreciation
of Mathematics and share interests and knowledge
on related Math issues. Problem solving sessions,
puzzle/game workshops, videos, and presentations
are provided for exploration of a variety of Math
topics. Both faculty and student presentations
explore academic and career opportunities
Meeting with Art (art
appreciation)
This club serves as a vehicle for dissemination
of information, understanding, and enlightenment,
discussion, appreciation, and practice of art.
All forms of art and their approaches are explored
through visual presentations, guest speakers,
and both on- and off-campus exhibits.
Paralegal Association
This organization is designed to provide information,
resources, and networking opportunities for students
interested in paralegal studies.
Philosophy Club
Discuss current events from a philosophical and
contemporary point of view.
Psychology Club
Science
Club
The purpose of this organizaton is to stimulate
and encourage interest in the physical sciences.
Student Nurses Organization
(SNO)
An organization to which all nursing students
belong. Prospective nursing students may also
be involved by contacting the faculty advisor.
SNO brings information of national professional
organizations to the students, who are encouraged
to become members of the National Student Nurse
Association (NSNA, Inc.) as a stepping stone to
graduate professional organizations.
Technology Club
The purpose of this club is to stimulate creative
thought in applications of technology. Through
guest presentations and faculty/student discussions,
contemporary issues are explored. Technological
advances are monitored for current and future
career opportunities in related fields.
