Mathematics Department

- Mathematics Tutoring Center – Russell Building Room 123
Professional and peer math tutors are available Monday through Friday and will assist students in all areas of mathematics. The schedule is posted on the door of Room 123.
- Tutors are available at the SEC, also.
- CD and/or video tapes are available in the library for MATH 011, 012, 151, 156, 191, 192, 195, 201, 265, and 266.
- Mathematics Computer Laboratory- Russell Building Room 135
For many classes, tutorial and graphing software is available in this lab.
- Professors are available for individual help during office hours.
Writing Center

Location: Russell Building, Room 124
- Tutorial assistance in conjunction with English classes, or help with papers for any class
- Supplemental materials for English skills
- Writing workshops as posted monthly

- Microsoft Office 2003 Applications are available. They include Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher.
- The lab has a limited number of course based software packages.
- The lab offers online tutorials for basic computer skills, Internet skills, and keyboarding skills.
- Academic Computer Lab Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 am- 10:00 pm
- Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
English As A Second Language
Program (ESL)

instruction, and VCR programs available.
- Contact person will help guide student to appropriate
professor and/or materials.

Business, Economics, And Computer
Studies Department
Room 314, Instructional Building
- Accounting - Instructors (including adjuncts) offer
assistance. Many will see students who are not in
their section.
- CSIT Courses - Lab Assistants offer limited help
with short questions.
- Home study videotapes are available in the Library

- Students may work independently on English course assignments as space permits.
