OCC Viking Baseball Team Completes 2010 Spring Campaign

The Ocean County College Baseball Team played a strong NJCAA schedule this season qualifying for the Region XIX Tournament.  The team was led by Justin Gordon who was named to the First Team All-Region XIX and First Team All-Garden State Athletic Conference for his excellent play both in the field and at the plate.  The team also had strong pitching performances throughout the season led by Vito Salvanto, Rocco Buglione, and Dan Kmiechick. 

The Vikings played in the Region XIX Tournament against Camden County College falling short in the first game 15-9 and losing the second game in the bottom of the 9th by a score of 7-6.  The team worked extremely hard to earn a spot in the tournament by winning their last 3 regular season games.
