Anthony LaBruno Scores 1000 Points

The NJCAA Region XIX Men's Basketball Game played at Ocean County College in Toms River NJ Tuesday night February 5, 2008 is when Anthony LaBruno of OCC scored his 1000th career point.

With 3:23 left in the game Ocean County College guard Anthony LaBruno  went up for a lay-up and became the 5th male athlete to score 1000 career junior college points. The final score of the game was 68 - 53 with Ocean coming out on top.

Anthony hails from Bayonne NJ and has been a standout for 2 seasons earning All Region and All Conference honors as a freshman.

Ocean County College President, Vice Presidents, Athletic Administration and Coaches presented a memorable ball to Anthony LaBruno at the game. Congratulations to Anthony for his accomplishment.
