Men’s Tennis Team Competes in Region XIX Tournament

The Ocean County College Men’s Tennis team competed in the Region XIX Men’s Tennis Tournament hosted by Mercer County Community College at Mercer County Park Tennis Complex on April 23rd and 24th 2010.  The team had a strong season and was ranked as high as 7th in the nation going into the event.  Leading the Vikings in the tournament were standout 6th singles player Ray Fayad and 3rd singles player Anthony Funicelli who won their way to a position as finalist in their brackets, earning them 2nd Team All-Region XIX Honors.  Anthony was also the top seeded player in his bracket, earning him 1st Team All-Garden State Athletic Conference Honors.  Congratulations to Coach Friedman and the OCC Men’s Tennis Team for an outstanding season.
