OCC Gives Back During the Holiday Season

Athletes of the Ocean County College Athletic Department gave back to the community this holiday season by collecting can goods and donations in support of Ocean County Hunger Relief and Kevin’s Kids for Christmas Drive 2009.  The players staffed home events and set up tables in the Student Center to collect for these local groups in need.  The teams also raised funds in October to help with the fight against breast cancer.

In all, over $500 was donated to Kevins Kids for Christmas Drive and more than five shopping carts of food were donated to Ocean County Hunger Relief.  The Athletic Department would like to thank you everyone who helped make this possible!
