The OCC Golf Team Has won the Region XIX Tournament and is headed to Nationals!

Ocean County College Men's Golf Team won the Region XIX Tournament held at Cape May Nationals on Tuesday May 13, 2008.

The team finished tied for first place with the County College of Morris with a score of 319. The team then went on to win the first playoff hole over CCM with a score of 16 to 18.  OCC Head Coach Kevin Beirne was named Region XIX "Coach of the Year" for 2008.

The Ocean County College team members, after being delayed a day based on weather on Monday, scored well.

The Team will now be headed to Jamestown, NY to play in the National Tournament at Chautauqua Golf Club.
