OCC Women's Soccer Repeat as Region XIX Champions

Ocean County College Women's Soccer won the Region XIX Championship on October 31st 2009.  The team defeated Brookdale, 4-0 in the Region Semi-finals on Thursday 10/29 and went on to defeat Camden in the Region Finals at NJIT in penalty kicks.  This is the second year in a row Ocean won the Region XIX Championship. 

After a scoreless draw in double overtime, Ocean came out on top 5-4 in Penalty Kicks as Teresa Cambra clinched the win with the 5th kick.  PK takers in order were Kate Femano, Alyssa Keating, Carly Lages, Briann Bradley, and Teresa Cambra.  Sarah Yeager recorded her 13th shutout for the Vikings. 

With this win Ocean will host the District "C" Championships to take place this Friday and Saturday November 6th and 7th for a chance at returning to the NJCAA National Championships.
