Women's Tennis Qualify for Nationals: Finish as 2011 Conference Champions and 2nd Place Region XIX

After an impressive regular season with 5 wins and only 1 defeat, the Ocean County College Women’s Tennis team participated in the Region XIX Tennis Tournament October 15th and 16th 2011.  The Vikings placed 4 of their singles players and 1 doubles team into finals matches.   The team finished the tournament as champions in 3 flights earning the team a second place finish in the tournament.  This qualifies the team for the NJCAA National Tournament from October 25th through October 28th 2011 at the National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY.
