Men’s Soccer Player Honored as CAANJ Male Student-Athlete of the Year

Ocean County College Goalkeeper, Daniel Wroblewski, was selected by the College Athletic Administrators of New Jersey (CAANJ) as the 2011 Junior College Male Student-Athlete of the Year.  This award is given each year to one male athlete at each level of competition (NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NJCAA) that stands out both as a student and as an athlete.  The recipients are invited to a lunch following the CAANJ general meeting in October to receive the award and give a brief acceptance speech.

As a scholar-athlete at Ocean County College, Daniel was honored for his academic success and athletic success at the Conference, Regional, and National levels with the following Awards:

Athletic Honors:

As a goalkeeper, Dan only allowed 32 goals in his 39 game career at Ocean County College and posted 19 career shutouts.  Daniel has demonstrated a great passion for success.  He plans to continue his playing career while pursuing a career in Health and Physical Education.  Eventually he aspires to be a coach to give back to the sport he has enjoyed his entire life.  He truly is well deserving of this award.
