 To all students planning to attend a professional school
and become a physician, dentist, veterinarian, pharmacist,
chiropractor, physical/occupational therapist, or any
other medical doctor-- a new club is being founded specifically
with your interests in mind-- the OCC Association of Pre-Health
Professionals, the APHP.
The requirements for applying to health professional
schools are strict and confusing. The APHP will aid
you in understanding these requirements and put you
in direct contact with the people you need to know--
those that have went through it and professional school
administrators.
In addition, as a member of the APHP, you will gain
access to entrance exam data, learn about financial
aid for professional school, and have the unique opportunity
to meet and establish personal relationships with currently
practicing doctors in the local area-- some of which
are OCC graduates themselves!
Not only will becoming a founding member help you to
achieve your scholastic and professional goals, but
it will be a gold star on your application as well.
