Ocean County College's academic program and administrative support services are designed to provide you with a healthy learning environment that increases your learning in a number of dimensions, nurtures your personal growth, and enables you to obtain a high quality education that is both affordable and accessible.
Our academic and workforce development programs are as diverse as our student population, including over 46 degrees and certificates, customized training, transfer, honors, licensure, and continuing and professional education programs. And we are constantly designing new programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our students.
Day, evening, weekend, Internet, and distance learning courses offered at our main campus in Toms River, at our centers in Brick Township and Manahawkin, and at off-campus sites throughout Ocean County make it possible for you to learn at times and places that are convenient for you. Our modest costs ensure that quality education programs are available to everyone. Ocean County College is one of the best educational "buys" in the nation. You can attend full-time for about $2,000 per year.
Through our support services, student activities, intercollegiate and intramural athletics, and alumni association, we work to ensure that you have a positive personal experience at Ocean County College and feel connected to the campus community. The many theatrical performances, cultural events, planetarium shows, and multicultural activities, scheduled throughout the year, enable everyone in the community to be a part of our college.
Jon H. Larson, Ph.D.
