Choosing the Right Courses

The right courses will depend on your major. Different degree programs require that you complete different courses.

Full time students – sign up for an Orientation through Ocean Connect.

Part time students – review the online orientation, view your chosen degree program curriculum guide, or discuss with an Academic Advisor.

Need a course suggestion?ACAD 155 Student Success – This First Year Experience course is a three credit course designed to provide a foundation of academic success for first year students at OCC.

Register for Your Classes

There are a variety of times and locations offered for most courses.

Part time students review your degree program’s curriculum guide use Web Advisor to search for available class sections, choose course sections, submit your registration form at the Registration and Records Office.

Payment is due at the time of registration

OCC Speak

Census date – Is the date during the semester in which the courses that a student is registered appears on their official record. If a student no longer wants to be in a course after this date the student would request a course withdrawal.
