ELEMENTARY HINDI I
HIND – 101
Hindi is the official language of India with over 700 million native speakers. This is an elementary college-level course in Modern Standard Hindi for students with little or no previous experience with the language. This course will introduce students to listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Hindi. This course will expose students to a variety of authentic Hindi materials using videos, stories, and text.
As the fourth most commonly spoken native language on Earth, Hindi is a valuable choice for students looking to broaden their cultural horizons and become more aware of the global landscape. It can be especially valuable for students interested in global business. The study of Hindi contributes to the student’s awareness of diversity and encourages them to adopt a global perspective.
