Foundation Scholarship Celebration

Event Details

Please join us for an evening on the beautiful Ocean County College Campus Mall on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. for the Ocean County College Foundation’s Annual Scholarship Celebration, benefiting the students of Ocean County College.

This year, our Annual Scholarship Celebration promises to be an exceptional event, honoring:

Rosann Bar, Ph.D. and Patricia Gianotti, Ph.D., LCADC
for their contributions to the Addictions Counseling Program and commitment to OCC

Ocean County College has emerged as a leader in developing innovative programs for students who want to become drug and alcohol counselors, at a time when counselors in this field are most needed. The Addictions Counseling Certificate program at OCC is designed to help students complete the requirements to become a New Jersey state-certified counselor. Additionally, through OCC’s strategic partnerships, students have access to apprenticeship programs, grant and scholarship funding, and opportunities to continue their education and obtain an advanced degree.

Alison Noone, MBA
for outstanding dedication to the operation of the Helping Hands Food Pantry

Helping Hands was created through a collaboration between the Tau Iota Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and the Student Life Office to assist college students struggling with food insecurity. The pantry, which has been assisting the college community since 2018, recently moved to a new, larger location in the Library and is in the process of expanding its services to ensure that students have the non-academic supports they need to succeed in college.

The Wintrode Family Foundation
for the establishment of the Roberta W. Wintrode Memorial Fund

The Roberta W. Wintrode Memorial Fund was established by the Wintrode Family Foundation to immediately impact the students of Ocean County College by providing support to all opportunities of educational and intellectual value, including special programs; student travel, both foreign and domestic; guest lectures; capital projects; and scholarships and grants.
