Trip Abroad I will be attending the 3rd Universia International Presidents Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 27 to 29. The theme of the meeting is “The University of the 21stCentury: An Insight from Latin America.” Its purpose is to create a collaborative interchange of ideas and insights into higher education to identify ways in which relationships among the Ibero-American universities and other universities can be enhanced as well as to promote the diffusion of knowledge through the Internet. Ocean County College Athletics On Saturday, November 9, the Ocean County College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams competed in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship Meet hosted by Holyoke Community College in Massachusetts.
