Apply for financial aid - Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at

Step 3

Submit Immunization Form- All full time new students under the age of 30 must complete and  submit an Immunization Form to the Registration Office prior to  enrolling in classes. Please submit the form to the Registration and Records Office located on the first floor of the Administration Building (#1) . Click here to download/print the Immunization Form.

Step 4

Testing - Schedule the College Placement Test (Accuplacer) to assess your academic skills in English and Mathematics by contacting the Testing Center at 732-255-0401. View our web page for more information.

Advising - Meet with an Academic Advisor about degree options, course scheduling and new student orientation. Contact the office at 732-255-0300. Visit our web page for more information.

Step 6

Register for Classes - Log into your Ocean Connect account and select your choice of classes. If you need further assistance, please contact the Registration & Records Department. Once you are registered for classes, you are an OCC student!

Step 7

Make Payment Arrangements - Pay your balance in full online or in person in the Cashiers Office. You can also use the OCC tuition payment plan or the many other options available to students. Visit our web page for more information.

Purchase Books - Purchase your books at the Toms River campus bookstore or online on our website.
