Welcome to Academic Advising at Ocean County College! Our Office Mission is to assist students in accomplishing their academic, career and lifelong learning goals.
Through our group and individual advising services, we help students: understand placement test results; select a degree program; understand college requirements and identify transfer or career goals. Stop by our office or schedule a virtual advising appointment.
The Advising Office is excited to introduce an initiative underway at OCC. Student Planning is an online resource that will provide students and advisors the tools they need to plan and track progress toward degree completion. With Student Planning, you will be able to plan courses for graduation, register for courses, and even see how your credits would fit into a different degree program.
Student Planning is currently available to new students. Student Planning is scheduled to be made available to the entire student body during the fall 2015 semester.
If you started at OCC prior to Summer 2015, you will continue to use WebAdvisor to register for classes.
Students who cannot come to campus, but wish to receive academic advising, can schedule a virtual advising appointment. Please call 732-255-0300 to make an appointment.
