The second semester of Spanish is designed to continue building the student's Spanish language proficiency based on listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing. Students continue leaning basic vocabulary and grammar. The vocabulary component covers the vocabulary that enables students to keep communication on an elementary level. Audio as well as computer based material is used to reinforce and expand the skills program in the classroom. It is highly recommended that students enrolling in this course have taken two to three years of high school Spanish if they cannot meet the prerequisite.
